This was my aunt's dress. She's worn it ever since I can remember (like, I have pictures of her in it from when I was FIVE) and when she passed away a few years ago, it was given to me. It might seem morbid but I always thought she looked so beautiful in it and wearing it always reminds me of her. :) She was a lot shorter than I am so I had to alter it a little.

i adore this! and i agree...NOT morbid! it's a GREAT way to remember ur aunt! i luv the idea of wearing a dress of someone u were close too. i hav all my great grandma's old jewelry and my mom was really close to her and i didnt really get to meet her too much. so it helps me feel close to her... <3, Abby
