I LOVE THIS DRESS! It's the best £4 i think i ever spent in my life. I can dress it up or down, put it with anything and it always looks good. Its like a faithful dog or something. Anyway, with my hair up i was feeling quite powerful so i went for my suede heeled booties and a stripey cardi. In the picture the cardian looks long but it's actually normal length with long bits at the front that you're supposed to tie. But i like to leave it hanging, giving it the look of something you would buy at All Saints. Then i just popped on my pink bead necklace for a pop of colour.
I really love this scarf,which is actually my mums, i think she realises now that she is never getting it back. I always think florals are a bit too girly for me but the black border gives it a bit of edge. I kept the basics of this outfit simple and all black, then added the cream belt and cardigan to bring a bit of colour and to tie in with the scarf.
I really admire people who wear mini dresses and Doc Martins, or similarly chunky boots, because its a hard look to pull off. I went for the happy middle ground with some tasseled boots. I kept accessories to a minimum as i thought the scarf did all the talking.
