I originally bought this dress for my shop, but when I put it on I knew I had to keep! It fits perfectly and I know that I'll be able to wear it in the super hot weather. Normally I don't go for 70's stuff like this, but maybe it's the light colors or the fact that I just finished watching Swingtown that has me going for the fluttery sleeves!

The lilacs are out! We always had them in our backyard when I was growing up so they are a memory-triggering favorite flower. I found this hair piece at the antique mall a couple days ago and just thrifted this blouse & skirt to go with it! I had my hair pinned back but it fell out so fast. Too short for that!

My favorite statue in Portland (it's Joan of Arc, actually a WWI memorial and a replica of the same golden statue in Paris) and my new favorite vintage dress.

I always love seeing the sunset from this hill. There were kids playing Marco Polo in the schoolyard below, so cute! This dress is my "I can't afford an Edwardian tea dress so here is the next best thing brought to you by Gunne Sax" dress.

I thrifted this late 30's dress for a few dollars at one of my favorite thrift stores. The little cape collar/sleeves were all torn off, but I mended the dress and it's as good as new!
