I originally bought this dress for my shop, but when I put it on I knew I had to keep! It fits perfectly and I know that I'll be able to wear it in the super hot weather. Normally I don't go for 70's stuff like this, but maybe it's the light colors or the fact that I just finished watching Swingtown that has me going for the fluttery sleeves!
The Grotto in Portland is sort of a hidden gem, a weird foresty religious sanctuary with lots of statues and beautiful plants. It is really relaxing and mellow, I love all the plants! This dress has an amazing folklore-inspired print with weird deer-like animals on it, it's basically a perfect print. I love it.
My friend and I went to a garden in SW Portland established in the 1930's, so I wore my new old 30's feedsack cotton dress. I love the little ruffle and diagonal lines, it even has a tiny pocket on the skirt! I wish I had more of these.
