DIY Blazer #1

Bought the blazer with roulette winnings after my 21st birthday. Now, almost four years later, I updated the look by stitching on the graphic from a sentimental tank top I owned but wore rarely. I stitched a matching piece of fabric into the front of the blazer to bring the look together, and also replaced the button with a new one that is bright yellow to match the thread I chose! click link for blog: STYLEFYLES.TUMBLR.COM

Neon #1

These layered tops give my torso a lot of length…and the digs probably would have looked better with heels….but I'm moving in a couple days and I’ve packed them all up! Ever since I saw the film the Informers (and then subsequently breezed through the book), I’ve been having random bursts of wanting to dress all “LA circa 1980/1990.” There’s a sort of dark romanticism and intriguing sadness to the lifestyles led by Bret Easton Ellis’ wealthy, detached characters. more photos at more at: STYLEFYLES.TUMBLR.COM
