I was recently given a stack of vintage dresses from my grandmother, to re-use for making new clothes. I'll be featuring each of them shortly... But I don't think I have the heart to tear them apart! They all have such gorgeous and unique details.

My grandmother's dress. Floor-length, floaty, light blue, soft thin cotton... Feels like wearing a cloud.
My grandmorther's dress: *AFTER* (check out the BEFORE link in the photo gallery) Alterations to remove the sleeves and collar, and adding a nanvy blue trim bring this gown into the 21st century. After a lengthly debate, it was decided to leave the length rather than shortening it to a cocktail dress.
